One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brave Star tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lucette that came steaming ahead. Lucette was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Lucette was in fine shape and held the lead.




Lucette clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lucette today. It continued in the lead.



Brave Star was first on the homestretch followed by Lucette and Bye Bye Beautiful.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Brave Star galop. Brave Star lost 30 m.




Lucette won the race after a spectacular finish.
