The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Färjestad today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Par Bonheur found a gap and took the lead. Contact followed before Whispering Maid. Make The Impossible was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Mr Anderson was in fine shape and held the lead.

Thunder Beach was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Contact followed by Pay My Food and Thunder Beach. Lane two Par Bonheur followed by Baltus and Whispering Maid.

Contact was still in the lead after 2000m.

Contact looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ikarus galop. Ikarus lost 30 m.

Whispering Maid didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
