One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Haddington Tom found a gap and took the lead. Rising Son followed before Alvena Pegasos.

This is the positions after 500m. Balmoral Castle, Rising Son, Sleeping Addiction, Relaxing Admiral, Tricky Sunset, Alvena Pegasos, Haddington Tom, Light Paladin.

Rising Son looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sleeping Addiction couldn't come out from behind the leader, Balmoral Castle.

Rising Son saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Sleeping Addiction put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Tricky Sunset gallopped 10 m after 2000m.

With only a little left of the race Tricky Sunset galoped for 10 m. Sleeping Addiction sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Alvena Pegasos, 2 Sleeping Addiction, 3 Tricky Sunset.
