One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Min Melodi was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Pointing Glam galloped way to long and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Sacred Wind started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Sacred Wind sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Saltando Marziale who started to galop and lost 30 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pointing Glam galop. Pointing Glam lost 40 m.

Akhatova won. Min Melodi came in second. Rugged Knight caught third place.
