It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Happy Boy took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Starstruck Diamond, Slow Thinking, Big Chief, Shining Witch, Floating Duchess, Whatever Rose, Happy Boy, Kanisteri.




Whatever Rose took the lead after 1000m. Kanisteri didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Whatever Rose today. It continued in the lead.



Big Chief was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Whatever Rose kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Kanisteri sprinted over the finishline before Happy Boy and Whatever Rose.
