One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ginger Lipstick found a gap and took the lead. Expensive Daffodil followed before Coughing News.




This is the positions after 500m. Barefoot Tropic, Ivory Princess, Ginger Lipstick, Expensive Daffodil, Coughing News, Prima Lilac, Bold Thinker, Modest Cake. A bird flew just in front of Highway Lady who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Coughing News took the lead after 1000m. Expensive Daffodil didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Ginger Lipstick accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Ginger Lipstick kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Ginger Lipstick kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Modest Cake galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Expensive Daffodil won. Ginger Lipstick came in second. Coughing News caught third place.
