The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Karlshamn this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Like A Lion took the lead after a very quick start. Useless Coalition was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Troubling Pixie, Fläsk Luna, Hermes George, Expensive Temptress, Youfoolme, Like A Lion, Floating Grove, Lysen. Useless Coalition was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Hermes George took the lead after 1000m. Troubling Pixie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hermes George followed by Expensive Temptress and Like A Lion. Lane two Mentaller followed by Useless Coalition and Troubling Pixie.

Hermes George didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Sliding Night was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

Lysen showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. With only a little left of the race Blue Paladin galoped for 10 m. Hermes George were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Mentaller won. Hermes George came in second. Expensive Temptress caught third place.
