The sun was shining on Skellefteå today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Shooting Wolf found a gap and took the lead. Smetana Hof followed before Fierceful Sniper. Glamorous Top was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Shooting Wolf followed by Fierceful Sniper and Barefoot Daffodil. Lane two Smetana Hof followed by Flickering Hollywood and Cunning Wave. Shining Sky galloped for 40 m.

Shooting Wolf looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Smetana Hof, 2 Fierceful Sniper, 3 Shooting Wolf.
