One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flaming Victory tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Melissa Horn that came steaming ahead. Johnny Takter wanted a little to much in the start and Fläsk Centaur galoped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Fläsk Centaur, Greatest Threat, Flaming Victory, Relaxing Boy, Dominant Factory, Melissa Horn, Perfect General, Earl Force.

Relaxing Boy sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Relaxing Boy followed by Flaming Victory and Melissa Horn. Lane two Dominant Factory followed by Perfect General and Rainbow Venus.

With only a little left of the race Rainbow Venus galoped for 50 m. Relaxing Boy looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Dominant Factory made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Relaxing Boy.
