It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nice Price Pegasos sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Påarps Beatrice saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Slugger Dynamite took the lead after 1000m. Fläsk Luna didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Slugger Dynamite today. It continued in the lead.




Slugger Dynamite didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Nice Price Pegasos speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Cannonball was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
