Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Skellefteå track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ancora Un Po tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Incredible Iris that came steaming ahead.

Bold Flower saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Light Wind sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light Wind followed by Ancora Un Po and Sliding Frenzy. Lane two Bold Flower followed by Incredible Iris and Heavenly Whirlwind.

Ancora Un Po put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Corruzione galloped way to long and was disqualified. Ancora Un Po kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Ancora Un Po kept the speed the whole finish and won before Incredible Iris and Bold Flower.
