One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Der Verschollene tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Polished Gladiator that came steaming ahead. Flickering Baby was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Polished Gladiator was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Der Verschollene showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Polished Gladiator was still in the lead after 1500m. Ginger Sunray galloped for 20 m.




Polished Gladiator sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Polished Gladiator looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Polished Gladiator today who won before Ginger Sunray and Flickering Baby.
