The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Frosty Red. Shooting Fist ended up behind the leader. Modest Ring got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Shooting Fist was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Striking Dreamcatcher started to galop and lost 20 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Frosty Red who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Haydn Hof looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Striking Dreamcatcher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Frosty Red. Fredericia was disturbed and galoped 20 m.
