The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Relaxing Rocket could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Bright Thought galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Sowing Sparkle was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Sliding Moment was still in the lead after 1500m.

Forceful Runner was still in the lead after 2000m.

Forceful Runner were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Winner of todays race was Good Looking Sword. Forceful Runner came in second. Wandering Hope became third.
