Only a humble breeze blew over Karlshamn this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Påarps Anastasia could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Coughing Dreamcatcher showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




This is the positions after 500m. Wondering Sunray, Walking Behemoth, Fighting Ship, Independant Blizzard, Påarps Anastasia, Expensive Nugget, Coughing Dreamcatcher, . Expensive Nugget galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Wondering Sunray was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Påarps Anastasia saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Expensive Nugget galloped for 30 m.




Påarps Anastasia was still in the lead after 2000m. Fighting Ship gallopped 20 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race Påarps Anastasia galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Wondering Sunray galoped for 10 m. Påarps Anastasia kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Fighting Ship made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Independant Blizzard.
