The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Silver Strategy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Growing Piece quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Golden Blizzard sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Golden Blizzard followed by Portable Force and Hoping Frenzy. Lane two Rumbling Mountain followed by Silver Strategy and Growing Piece.



Golden Blizzard sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Growing Piece was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Portable Force never caught up with Golden Blizzard who won. Silver Strategy came third.
