The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jägersro this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Pirate took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Estela started to galop and lost 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Expensive Nugget, Confident Sniper, Påarps Axel, Fighting Paradigm, Punching Pirate, Sleeping Dancer, Walking Behemoth, Estela.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Punching Pirate looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Fighting Paradigm suddenly took over the lead.



Fighting Paradigm sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Fighting Paradigm kept the speed the whole finish and won before Punching Pirate and Confident Sniper.
