One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Falling Hyena tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Silver Runner that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Tough Boy started to galop and lost 20 m.




Silver Runner was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Noble Gesture who started to galop and lost 50 m.
