One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ice Mountain could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Royal Kronos, The Beast, Black Arraow, Va Tout Gede, Quartier De L'oraly, Mårran Cherry, Ice Mountain, Sparrow's Cry.

The Beast sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Royal Kronos accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Quartier De L'oraly seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Royal Kronos galoped for 50 m. driver couldn't keep Out Of Here to trotting so they were disqualified. Quartier De L'oraly kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The Beast made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Quartier De L'oraly.
