The sun was shining on Boden today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Piu Tango took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. The Beaver, Fast Devil, Speedy Girl Pegasos, Ticking Heat, Glory Diamond, Starshine Peach, Baroness Nagel, Thinking Play. A bird flew just in front of Piu Tango who started to galop and lost 40 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Glory Diamond looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Thinking Play started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

The Beaver was first on the homestretch followed by Glory Diamond and Baroness Nagel.

Glory Diamond won the race after a spectacular finish.
