One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Running Piece found a gap and took the lead. Sliding Thinking followed before Dominant Architecture.




Sliding Thinking saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Dominant Architecture looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ginger Sunray couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sliding Thinking.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sliding Thinking followed by Dominant Architecture and Stage Magic. Lane two Ginger Sunray followed by Der Verschollene and Running Piece.



With only a little left of the race Competitive Gladiator galoped for 40 m. Sliding Thinking sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Dominant Architecture showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Der Verschollene sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
