It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sleepy Rocket was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Amazing Cake started to galop and lost 50 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Perfect Amazon who started to galop and lost 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Crossing Giggle was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Sleepy Rocket was still in the lead after 1500m. Pink Whirlwind started to gallop after 1500m and Leif Witasp had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Crossing Giggle was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Sleepy Rocket were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Åke Sundberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Perfect Amazon started to galopp and lost 40 m. Crossing Giggle galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Miss Deluxe won. Opposing Princess came in second. Blossoming Duchess caught third place.
