One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Meren Ritari tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Comfortable Comet that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Päivänsäde looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Virkelig Diamant couldn't come out from behind the leader, Comfortable Comet.




Virkelig Diamant looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Comfortable Comet gallopped for 30 m.



Virkelig Diamant were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Meren Ritari never caught up with Virkelig Diamant who won. Päivänsäde came third.
