One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Luxe Réjouir could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Luxe Réjouir was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Glittering Mambo started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Glittering Mambo looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Tress Hovmand couldn't come out from behind the leader, Luxe Réjouir.



Whatever Meadow looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Glittering Mambo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Luxe Réjouir.






Luxe Réjouir didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
