One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Old Snake tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bardsey that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Ferocious Gentleman, Great Big Boy, Dribbling Paladin, Calming Arraow, Crossing Princess, Loving Darkness, Slow Lizard, Bright Thought.

Calming Arraow looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dribbling Paladin couldn't come out from behind the leader, Ferocious Gentleman.

Calming Arraow saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Old Snake gallopped for 30 m.

With only a little left of the race Slow Lizard galoped for 20 m. Loving Darkness speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Calming Arraow, 2 Loving Darkness, 3 Great Big Boy.
