The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Aim High tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ruža that came steaming ahead.




Völler Möller quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Bardsey sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bardsey followed by Relaxing Snake and Völler Möller. Lane two Aim High followed by Ruža and Coughing Gal.




Bardsey kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



driver couldn't keep Ruža to trotting so they were disqualified. Bardsey sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Aim High galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Ruža galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Bardsey didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
