The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Axevalla this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Old Kent tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Le Plus Vite that came steaming ahead.

Eau Du Cologne quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Helpful Tank was disturbed and galoped 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Speedy Turf who started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Running Technology took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Running Technology today. It continued in the lead.

Jumping Piece seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead. Helpful Tank was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.

Jumping Piece sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jumping Piece showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Helpful Tank galop. Helpful Tank lost 20 m.

Running Technology won. Le Plus Vite came in second. Commando Crowe caught third place.
