One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blixt Ritter tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Comfortable Valley that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Independant Band, Big Stone, Shasta Daisy, Blixt Ritter, Nackers Yard, Comfortable Valley, Loving Breeze, Rugged Cruiser.




Independant Band clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Nackers Yard suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Rugged Cruiser galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Independant Band was still in the lead after 1500m.




Blixt Ritter took the lead.



Comfortable Valley litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Shasta Daisy, 2 Comfortable Valley, 3 Blixt Ritter.
