One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flower Witch found a gap and took the lead. Stunning Amazon followed before Grasping Witch. Åke Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Stunning Amazon galoped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Walking Spring, Grasping Witch, Flower Witch, Stunning Amazon, Striking Diary, Blossoming Darkness, Dusty Witch, .




Grasping Witch sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Grasping Witch followed by Stunning Amazon and Striking Diary. Lane two Flower Witch followed by Walking Spring and Blossoming Darkness.




Grasping Witch kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Grasping Witch were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Striking Diary galop. Striking Diary lost 30 m.




Stunning Amazon made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Grasping Witch.
