The sun was shining on Halmstad today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stepping Wind sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Micael Stjernström wanted a little to much in the start and Origin Of Species galoped for 40 m. Stefan Persson wanted a little to much in the start and Mad Sunflower galoped for 40 m.

Tripping Closet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Mad Sunflower who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Stepping Wind sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Stretching Pearl galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Stepping Wind today. It continued in the lead.

Stepping Wind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Stepping Wind kept the speed the whole finish and won before Neon Winter and Exotic Baby.
