It had been raining for several days at Kalajoki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Reverend found a gap and took the lead. Greetings From Home followed before Maija Kemp. Seppo Markkula wanted a little to much in the start and Black Moon galoped for 40 m.




Greetings From Home quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Greetings From Home was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Apprécient Le Tour looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



The Reverend was first on the homestretch followed by Apprécient Le Tour and Maija Kemp.






Winner of todays race was The Reverend. Apprécient Le Tour came in second. Maija Kemp became third.
