The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Forus this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Close Man could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Rainbow Sparkle started to galop and lost 50 m.

Rainbow Sparkle saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Schwimmsport Gold sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Thinking Asteroid suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Larita Hessito was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Schwimmsport Gold was still in the lead after 1500m.

Sleepy Starshine suddenly took over the lead.

Sleepy Starshine sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Dancing Moon galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Final standings. 1 Schwimmsport Gold, 2 Rainbow Sparkle, 3 Sleepy Starshine.
