One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flaming Victory could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Sad Mountain quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Listening Universe sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Listening Universe followed by Flaming Victory and Volando Libre. Lane two Sad Mountain followed by King Speedy and Good Looking Crusher.




Sad Mountain suddenly took over the lead. Good Looking Crusher was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



Sad Mountain kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Sad Mountain didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
