The weather had been good all week and Bergen was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Flower Witch found a gap and took the lead.
Opposing Lipstick followed before
Loving Cookie.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Loving Cookie sprinted to the front.
Flower Witch was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
Ivory Wonder sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Magic Venus sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Magic Venus didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
