Start List
The sun was shining on Mantorp and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Happy Sugar took the lead after a very quick start. This is the positions after 500m. Walking Hyena, Starstruck Wish, L'Étoile Mystérieuse, Happy Sugar, Shooting Puma, Devine Top, Gorgeous Summer, Active Thinking. Shooting Puma took the lead after 1000m. Starstruck Wish didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Shooting Puma followed by Devine Top and Walking Hyena. Lane two Starstruck Wish followed by Happy Sugar and Active Thinking. Active Thinking galloped for 20 m. Shooting Puma looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Devine Top sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
