The sun was shining on Arvika and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Striking Pearl took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Striking Pearl clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Striking Pearl was still in the lead after 1500m.



Striking Pearl were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Ginger Girl sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
