One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Gorgeous Bouquet. Amber Red ended up behind the leader. Nicki Sunrise got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Amber Red, Gorgeous Bouquet, Golden Glam, Red Lily, Nicki Sunrise, Flickering Nova, Walking Baby, Lonely Wish.

Nicki Sunrise sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Amber Red was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nicki Sunrise followed by Gorgeous Bouquet and Red Lily. Lane two Flickering Nova followed by Golden Glam and Walking Baby. Gorgeous Bouquet started to gallop after 1500m and Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Red Lily galoped for 20 m. Nicki Sunrise kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Veli-Erkki Paavola tried a little too much on the homestretch and Lonely Wish started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Flickering Nova, 2 Gorgeous Bouquet, 3 Nicki Sunrise.
