One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tricky Rhapsody could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Power Thinking was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Opposing Doll galloped way to long and was disqualified. Commando Crowe was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Troubling Breath, Great Big Boy, Tricky Rhapsody, Commando Crowe, Power Thinking, Strong Striker, Appomattox, Running Sound. Seductive Force was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Great Big Boy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Great Big Boy was still in the lead after 1500m.

Great Big Boy was still in the lead after 2000m. Seductive Force galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Great Big Boy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Strong Striker was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Veijo Heiskanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Running Sound started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Power Thinking made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Appomattox.
