One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wimpy Electra found a gap and took the lead. Red Feeling followed before Turning Cookie.




Wimpy Electra was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Red Feeling started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Wimpy Electra clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Wimpy Electra kept the speed the whole finish and won before Red Feeling and Turning Cookie.
