The sun was shining on Skellefteå and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Desolate Striker. Krutpaketet ended up behind the leader. Shining Armor got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Desolate Striker was in fine shape and held the lead. Shining Armor looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Krutpaketet couldn't come out from behind the leader, Desolate Striker. Shining Armor looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Desolate Striker suddenly took over the lead. Desolate Striker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Shining Armor won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
