One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sneaky Asteroid. Mackleton ended up behind the leader. Wolly Rose got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Mackleton, Striking Feeling, Wolly Rose, Rugged Knight, Sneaky Asteroid, Sleeping Forest, Slippery Blast, Pascal.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Striking Feeling was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Mackleton today. It continued in the lead. Rugged Knight galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Sneaky Asteroid was first on the homestretch followed by Wolly Rose and Mackleton.

Mackleton showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Striking Feeling showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Wolly Rose never caught up with Sneaky Asteroid who won. Slow Lizard came third.
