One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Wandering Darkness. Sahara Hoof ended up behind the leader. Lonely Astronaut got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. In Command was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Tomas Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Lonely Astronaut galoped for 20 m.

Whispering Sky saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Whispering Sky was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Elegant Starlight galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

In Command accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Lonely Astronaut was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. In Command looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The Duke won the race after a spectacular finish.
