One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waldner could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Sommerfuglen started to galop and lost 20 m. Rootless Tree was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Sommerfuglen, Waldner, Larger Than Life, Rootless Tree, Veuve Clicquot, Eukalyptus, Oliver Kahn, U Turn. A bird flew just in front of Powerking who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Waldner sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Larger Than Life saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Waldner seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Waldner were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Rootless Tree sprinted over the finishline before Waldner and Larger Than Life.
