One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Saston tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Seductive Force that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Black Thinking, Saston, Seductive Force, Sneaky Star, Loving Action, Belshazzar's Feast, Rugged Knight, Jerk Rodney.




Black Thinking clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Black Thinking today. It continued in the lead.



Belshazzar's Feast speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Sneaky Star was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Seductive Force won the race after a spectacular finish.
