The sun was shining on Gävle today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dancing Grove sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Backstabbing Sunflower to trotting so they were disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Stopping Closet was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.
