One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ghostly Sunray could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Good Looking Night took the lead after 1000m. Earthly Nature didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Good Looking Night followed by Wrapped Up and Troubling Sunflower. Lane two Earthly Nature followed by Ghostly Sunray and Slow Bear. Ghostly Sunray started to gallop after 1500m and Paw Mahony had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Good Looking Night kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Ghostly Sunray won. Wrapped Up came in second. Earthly Nature caught third place.
