One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Louise Attaque found a gap and took the lead. Shooting Band followed before Elegant Moon. Zaccaria was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Wimpy Sunray quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Elegant Moon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Elegant Moon followed by Shooting Band and Zaccaria. Lane two Wimpy Sunray followed by Louise Attaque and Pick A Number.



Elegant Moon were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Wimpy Sunray won the race after a spectacular finish.
