The weather had been good all week and Bollnäs was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Expensive Tropic tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to La Maglia Rosa that came steaming ahead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Quick Star galloped way to long and was disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Expensive Tropic looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Troubling Hope galoped for 10 m. Expensive Tropic were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Sliding General galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Expensive Tropic kept the speed the whole finish and won before La Maglia Rosa and Smiling Ring.
