One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kiwi Crush found a gap and took the lead. Well Said Pierce followed before Galactic Monkey.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Well Said Pierce clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Well Said Pierce was still in the lead after 1500m. Kiwi Crush galloped for 10 m.



Well Said Pierce sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Well Said Pierce never caught up with Kiwi Crush who won. Galactic Monkey came third.
