The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Bjerke today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Power Thinking could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Eternal Jewel who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Stretching Mambo took the lead after 1000m. Falconeer didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Falling Satellite galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stretching Mambo followed by Power Thinking and Eternal Jewel. Lane two Falconeer followed by Gold Elegant Midnight and Helpful Scout. driver couldn't keep Confident Power to trotting so they were disqualified.




Falconeer took the lead.



Falconeer sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Eternal Jewel sprinted over the finishline before Falconeer and Stretching Mambo.
